In early October, to celebrate the launch of our FW23 boot collection, we took some of our favourite people on a fall day extravaganza. Complete with furry friends, apple picking, pumpkin painting, and a decked-out dinner – easy to say it was a day to remember <3.

Follow along and get a sneak peek into what our Generation Spring besties are looking forward to this season; from fashion to coffee orders. Trust us, it’s a good one!

We picked up our guests, in a decked-out sprint van, at a cute local coffee shop and headed to our first location: the apple orchard!

Our amazing guests included Gen Laforce and her girlfriend Keren Hitterman. Katie Cung and her boyfriend Justin. Yodit and Aliona. And Marilou and her bestie Laure Noel.

We started our visit at the Apple orchard with a private VIP tour (nothing but the best for Generation Spring obvi). We enjoyed tasting the various non-alcoholic ciders and fruit spreads that the orchard makes on-site.

Afterwards, we visited the orchard’s farm and had a blast hanging out with some furry friends (goats, turkeys, a pig, and chickens).

We invited our guests inside the Orchard cabin for a farm-to-table lunch. We enjoyed vegetarian picnic baskets that included veggies, salads, local cheese, bread, vegetarian sausage, and more!

This was the perfect time to chit-chat, admire our FW23 collection, and take some cute pics.

Post-pumpkin glow up, we headed inside and sat down at yet another beautifully decorated table. We had a blast talking and enjoying a gastronomical menu specially created by the Inn’s infamous chef.

After loads of courses, and delicious fall-themed desserts, we packed up and returned to the sprinter van to head home and conclude a magical and successful day.

What is your fall fashion must-have?
“My fall fashion must-have is probably a trench coat. I feel like it’s such a staple for keeping you warm on those cool, chilly days.”

What is your favourite fall/winter trend of 2023?
“Ouuu! I would say (faux) fur boots. I’m into that.”

Are you an Autumn?
“I’m definitely an Autumn. I thrive in the fall. Let the leaves change, let ‘em fall, let them crunch... I’m into it.”

Bootie or Boot?
“Boots. 100%. The bigger the better.”

What is your go-to seasonal drink?
“Pumpkin Spice latte! Is it basic? I’m so sorry. Honestly, I don’t think I show up to a class without one.”

Are you more of a heeled-boot or chunky-boot person?
“Chunky boot. I need maximum surface area for balance.”

What is your fall fashion must-have?
KATIE: “A fall fashion must-have for me is knee-high boots.”
JUSTIN: “A nice cap, just a nice cap.”

What is your favourite fall trend of 2023?
KATIE: “I feel like red is really trendy this season, the cherry red. My nails, everything, I love cherry red.”
JUSTIN: “I like the baggy knitwear. Those are really nice.”

What is your favourite fall/winter accessory?
KATIE: “Scarves, 100%. I love thick scarves. A mohair scarf, love that.”
JUSTIN: “I’m really getting into cropped jackets. Those are really cool these days. A cropped jacket with like baggy pants, very cool.”

Are you a boot or bootie person?
KATIE: “Boot. My favourite length is right at/below the knee. It really elongates the legs.”
JUSTIN: “I feel like always booties. As long as it’s a zip, I love functionality.”

What was your favourite part about today?
KATIE: “I think today it was the pumpkin decoration. It was so cute. You all have to try it.”
JUSTIN: “I’ve never done apple picking before, so that was a lot of fun.”

What is one fall trend from the past that you wish would come back into style?
KATIE: “I already had my answer to this planned. For me, it’s capes. Not like superhero capes, but the one’s that you put your arms through. That with knee-high boots, you can’t go wrong.”
JUSTIN: “I think overalls are kind of cool!”

What is your fall fashion must-have?
“A leather jacket. Like any leather jacket. They're so beautiful.”

What is your favourite fall/winter trend of 2023?
“Loafers! Chunky loafers.”

What Is your favourite fall/winter accessory?
“A scarf, OR, leg warmers. Pair them with a mini skirt, and you’re good.”

Are you an Autumn?
“Yeah. Trench coat season is the best. The colours in Autumn are also gorgeous.”

What is your go-to seasonal drink?
“pumpkin spice latte. I feel like that’s so basic, but you have to. ‘Tis the season. But also, like a hot chocolate.”

Are you more of a heeled shoe or a chunky shoe person?
“Chunky. It’s like an elevated basic.”

What was your favourite part about today?
“The flower craft on the pumpkins. Oh my god. Loved it.”

What was your favourite part of today?
GEN: “apple picking.”
KEREN: “Also apple picking.”

What Call It Spring boot are you wearing right now, and why did you pick them?
GEN: “The STEFFANIE in black. They were giving sexy, so I was like, you know what, a little end-of-the-night outfit change; I'm going to go all black.”
KEREN: “The HIKERCHIC in white/cream. They just looked really comfy, and they are.”

What is one tip for fall styling that you want to share with our audience?
GEN: “I think we’re over-matching the boot to the purse. I think just to make an outfit with an accessory. So if you have a piece and you’re like, “Oh, this is a bold piece,” style with that piece as opposed to trying to follow the rules. Just style around that piece. And basics are your best friend.”
KEREN: “I don’t think anyone should take styling advice from me. My look is all thanks to her (Gen). Get a girlfriend.”

What is your best advice for how to feel confident on a day when you don’t feel your best?
GEN: “Fake it till you make it. That is my life motto. I may look confident, but you will not know if I actually am.”
KEREN: “I just try not to care what people think. And I just go outside, like you have just to go. Go do an activity outside, and it usually makes people feel better.”
GEN: “Try the tube girl trend. It is very humbling. The thrill is when the metro is full.”

If you could wear only one fall accessory for the rest of your life, what would it be?
GEN: “Earmuffs. Or nice boots.”
KEREN: “A nice beanie.”

What is one fall trend from the past that you hope comes back?
GEN: “Every. House. Decorated. For. Halloween! Future generations are not going to know the thrill of Halloween.”
